Religion Is a Business II

A large part of the hold religion has on society is economic.  Religious organizations and their members constitute what are essentially secret, criminal guilds.  They not only dole out favors to their members and those who are willing to ally with them, they also ensure that discrimination against nonbelievers is extant, thorough, and unpunished.
